Darren Fung, Ph.D.
Senior Pastor
Pastor Darren Fung graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist College in 1983. In 1986, he obtained his Master of Divinity from the China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong. After graduation, he served in his home church as pastor. He also volunteered in prison fellowship in Hong Kong until 1995, visiting and counseling inmates of life imprisonment. In 2003, he earned his Ph.D. degree from New College, University of Edinburgh. During his time in Edinburgh, he helped establish the Chinese Evangelical Church in Edinburgh. In 2004, Dr. Fung became Professor of Church History in the Christian Witness Theological Seminary, CA. In May 2023 Dr. Fung becomes the Senior Pastor of Antioch Grace Church (AGC). Before he joined the ministry of AGC, he was Interim Senior Pastor of Greater Phoenix Chinese Christian Church for two years. Dr. Fung’s wife, Ruth, also obtained her Ph.D. degree in Education from the University of Edinburgh. Dr. Fung is also an Adjunct Professor of SAGOS Institute of Preaching & Bible Exposition, teaching Church History and Historical Theology.

Ruth Chan, Ph.D.
Director of Christian Education
Ruth Chan is the wife of Pastor Darren Fung. She is the mother of three (adult) sons. Ruth once taught in middle and primary schools. She has been active in church education. In 2009, she obtained a PhD in Education from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Now Ruth serves as the Director of Christian Education in Antioch Grace Church on a voluntary basis.
